It’s awesome to have a neighbor with hens.  I feed them all my fruit/vege scraps.  I’d rather feed them than a fake garbage disposal monster, or let the gases build in a garbage dump rivaling that of car fumes.  Plus, they kind of cluck & talk like ol’ hens do when I bring the scraps.  As a vegetarian I have plenty of banana, orange, & grapefruit peels, avocado skins, stems of greens, even leftover meals which they’ll gladly gobble up.

One of the reasons I love photography is that it allows a deeper study by the freezing of time which allows one to examine nano seconds after the experience.  I never knew how fast their movements are, revealing itself in the blurs.  Also, how they eat with their big rump/body up in the air & how small their head really is in comparison to their bodies.
